 Timing of newsletter – not clear in last newsletter

News from Susac, all funding for films have been approved. Send in invoices before the end of March.

Business cards not developed yet.   Action ED  Jennys film was pulled.

Film project

Karen and Rachel to set up booking system.

Karen will confirm how many chairs there are and how many councillors are to be invited. 

Robin has a card reader which can be used to collect donations.

 

No news from Richard Thomas about Gillingham show.

Food leaflet, in the process of being produced and distributed.

Action Ed to set up a donation button on the PS website.

PS to have a stall at the Food Festival on 3rd May.   There will be food and craft stalls. Rachel to ask if the PS stall can be with the food stalls.

Diana to check out how much to buy a gazebo.  Needs to be weighted. 

Warm homes - tie in with Jennys film to give out information?

Karen to make contact with Robbie Martin.

PS structure – Rachel has produced a diagram, and would like this to be put on the agenda for our next meeting.

Survey completed.

Group  visit to Kensons – Robin keeping the list.  Lucy to ask Kensons when convenient.

89% project – more people coming forward for this.  Waiting to hear from Kerry about the link to our website.

 

Agenda

 

1.  Hedgehogs rescue being relaunched. Volunteers have equipment.

2.  XR  Troublesome assumption that we are overconnected to XR which puts some people off,  eg funders.  We will maintain our links.

3.  Earth hour. PS will be present at the event on saturday week. 7.30 to 9.30. St Peters

4.  Sustainable dorset AGM  on line on 24th March.

5.  DCAN energy meeting on line last monday of the month.

6.  Swift cards, new cards available Folde. 

7.  Whale poo animation – to be presented at European Cetacean Society meeting in Dundee end of April. Congrats to Jocelyn and Richard Foreman.

8   Schools – failure to get the film going.  Karen has made no headway with music project for kids due to lack of engagement by the schools.

9.  Poster – print and leaflets for events?  Agreed posters and flyers helpful.  Robin to ask Beth if she would put stuff on social media for us.


 Deadline for next newsletter 31st March. 

Next meeting 16th April at 6.00   May meeting will be 14th May
