The lack of government support for community energy schemes has led to a slowdown in new activity from UK-based Community Energy Companies. Dorset Community Energy is an exception because they have been given funding from Dorset Council that is enabling them to embark on another round of solar PV installations on public buildings in Dorset. They're currently promoting their 3rd Share Offer and there's a chance we might get one installation in Shaftesbury. See their website at https://www.dorsetcommunityenergy.org.uk/ or there'll be information at Planet Shaftesbury's July meeting (18th)
