An interesting article in "Inkcap" journal.
Are we going to lose a lot of ancient footpaths if they are not all officially recorded?
Do we already have plenty enough footpaths?
If we're going to reduce car use we should be able to walk from one settlement to another by footpath surely?
There are all the national initiatives to feed into? Forinstance;https://www.ramblers.org.uk/advice/paths-in-england-and-wales/definitive-maps-explained/how-to-claim-an-unrecorded-right-of-way.aspx
It would be great to have a coordinated
local group feeding in to this?

I don't know! Maybe Arthur would know.
I just thought it was a very interesting discussion, are we going to "lose" footpaths? Are too many people walking the footpaths causing damage, trampling? But we need footpaths don't we? Even land owners presumably use footpaths on other people's land.
Are there any local initiatives for us to connect with?
