XR Shaftesbury 'Funeral' For Extinct Species

We have had a change of heart and updated the time and theme for the event, please see updated information below.

All welcome to join XR Shaftesbury's 'Funeral' for Extinct Species event. We will be meeting at Swan's Yard with a parade down to Gold Hill for a 'die-in', followed by a 'rise' and celebration song.

There will be a jazz band but please feel free to bring any instruments along to join in with the atmosphere.

Theme (optional):

- This will be an 'edgy', theatrical event.

- Black/mauve/purple clothing with 'hearts on your sleeve' - however hints of colour would be great too.

- Feel free to bring flowers along if you wish.

Banners/posters:

Please feel free to bring along any banners or posters with extinct species on, or other extinction rebellion themed designs.
