About the Event
Shaftesbury Swifts is a community group for the SP7 postal area, whose purpose is to monitor summer swift colony numbers, providing additional secure nesting sites where possible. We aim to work with homeowners, councils, schools, churches, planners, builders and developers to protect these incredible birds in the Shaftesbury area. We were founded in response to Shaftesbury Town Council's 'Wild About Shaftesbury' community ecology project.
