About the Event
Note - the graphic was first used at the Shaftesbury 2030 event that we organised and ran at Shaftesbury School last year.
The town council's Sustainable Shaftesbury/Climate Change working group includes a number of people who are active participants in our network as well as some others. This monthly meeting comes 3 months after they started work to update and reinforce the council's existing plan (implementation of which has been affected in some degree by Covid19).
Brie Logan, Town Clerk, will be with us so that we can understand how the plan will integrate with other plans of the council. We'll have time to review the detailed sections of the plan, to comment and make suggestions upon it, and possibly - to reflect on areas where collaboration can be effective.
Following the (not very) formal talks there will be informal opportunities to review and share information about other Planet Shaftesbury activities.
We will continue to be cautious about Covid, staying away if we have any symptoms or have tested positive, respecting one another's space, keeping the room ventilated, and with mask-wearing optional. Meeting will start at 7.30. The hall will be open from 7pm - come early to help set up!
