About the Event
One of a series being organised by Alex More for pupils from across SAST schools.
Planet Shaftesbury is more involved in some days than others - offering workshop leaders, speakers, finding speakers, helping with admin on the day etc. This day is being co-ordinated by someone in our network.
Alex previously described this day: As global populations rise, humans will have to change how they eat and source food. This workshop focuses on farming techniques and how we might grow food through vertical farming, hydroponics and 3D printing in the future. Students will also get to try some nutritious alternatives and see an insect farm in action.
Science, Technology and Engineering are the main subject disciplines.
