The Future of Music - Now in July. Two half days of talks and workshops for pupils from local schools: primary in the morning, secondary in the afternoon. Planet Shaftesbury may be offering volunteer support.

About the Event
One of a series being organised by Alex More for pupils from across SAST schools. This session has been rearranged due to the original day being affected by heavy snow/ofsted day.
Planet Shaftesbury is more involved in some days than others - offering workshop leaders, speakers, finding speakers, helping with admin on the day etc.
Alex has described the day: We buzz in music experts for this music masterclass which places the engineering of sound at the heart of the curriculum. Leading figures from the industry will present challenges to solve complex problems such as microphone design and wearable AI stitched into the fabric of your clothing. Music as art is also a focus as students will be required to record their own futuristic sounds.
