“Seiners & Quarrypaths” is an atmospheric multimedia show; words, music and film which celebrates the Dorset heritage of mackerel fishing and quarrying in Purbeck. It features Sarah Acton, author & narrator, accompanied by a multitracked cello score composed and performed by virtuoso cellist Emily Burridge.
The Purbeck and Portland quarries and stone yards, and the seine fishing crews and mackerel on Chesil Beach are gone.
