About the Event

We are planting trees to fight climate change. Last season we planted 400 saplings in a field in Wardour, near Tisbury. We are making a new wood. We are calling it Harfish Wood. This season we are going for even more trees.

Please come to a planting day. We are going to meet at 10am on Saturday 26th November, near Wardour School SP3 6RF. There will be a status update by 8am on https://climatechangeactivists.org/events/ on the day in case we have to postpone because of bad weather.

Please bring a spade if you can. Trowels are also useful. We recommend waterproofs, gloves, water, a hot drink, and, if staying all day, lunch or a snack.

Families with young children are welcome – we are planting for the children’s future. The ground is rough, so wellington boots or strong walking shoes are a good idea.

Questions to Chris, please, at info@climatechangeactivists.org

or on 07467 129349.
