About the Event
At our monthly meeting in October 2021 we found that there simply wasn't sufficient time for a mindful conversation that had been suggested. We recognised that this time pressure is not unusual at our standard meetings so we allocated a special evening for a conversation.
The conversation started with the acknowledgement that all of us who are part of the Planet Shaftesbury network are responding to an awareness of a breakdown. The period of our planet's existence where the climate was predictable and nature was abundant has ended. We know that human activity, including our own, has contributed to this breakdown and we're making changes in our own lives. Each in our own ways, we'd like to have a positive influence on others as well.
