Planet Shaftesbury Monthly Meeting & Talk on Energy Efficiency - Retrofit advice for older properties

OUTLINE: At the next monthly meeting we'll take a step beyond last month's discussions of how Planet Shaftesbury supports each of us to make a difference. We'll define some of the activities through which we can tackle the climate and ecological emergency ourselves and through our local councils. What are the different actions we want the Town or Dorset Councils to take as a priority?

There'll be opportunities for individuals to build a group around a proposed activity, and for existing groups to put forward their suggested demands to Councils.

We can hear about and adapt ideas from actions being taken by Extinction Rebellion and linked groups in other towns and counties, and.

We'll also hear from Jenny Morisetti, the champion for Sustainable Dorset in Shaftesbury, who will talk about the ways we can create sustainable and healthy homes for ourselves and who has ideas on ways of spreading the word across the town.
