Planet Shaftesbury Monthly Meeting

This month’s meeting falls in a week when Extinction Rebellion are promoting the message ‘ACT NOW’ in 5 major cities across Britain. Many of us were busy during the Fringe and we’re set to maintain the momentum with more actions that build awareness of the climate and ecological emergency and support local change. 

The meeting on the 18th is a chance to connect with like-minded people as we identify new and add detail to existing plans for responding locally.  This could include opportunities with:

• Dorset Community Energy Company
• Tree planting initiatives
• A presence at summer events
• Ideas for using art and gardening to spread the word
• Actions highlighting oil industry activity in the county,
• ... and more.
