This month we have a film night. WWF strategist Lucy Young introduces Breaking Boundaries, a film exploring our impact on critical Earth systems. Followed by discussion, including of the emerging vision for Shaftesbury 2030. Open to all. Free admission.

There is a wealth of information online about the work of WWF. Lucy Young writes: 'Please join us for Planet Shaftesbury’s next monthly meeting and a screening of Breaking Boundaries, a film exploring our impact on critical earth systems and what we can do to avoid “tipping points” and reverse our impact on climate and nature. Insights from the film will help us think about and act upon what we would like to see change in Shaftesbury and Dorset this decade towards a sustainable 2030.'

We will continue to be cautious about Covid, staying away if we have any symptoms or have tested positive, respecting one another's space, keeping the room ventilated, and with mask-wearing optional. Meeting will start at 7.30. The hall will be open from 7pm - come early to help set up!
