About the Event
Palida Choir and Shaftesbury Ukulele Band will be hosting a Christmas concert in aid of the Shaftesbury Tree Group and Shaftesbury Town Council tree planting initiative for 2020. There will be Christmas songs a plenty interspersed with tree related readings.
Palida Choir is a Shaftesbury based a cappella choir led by Karen Wimhurst. They will be singing a short set of Christmas settings in 4-part harmony. For more up tempo Christmas favourites the Shaftesbury Ukulele Band led by Robin Walter will get everyone's foot tapping. Both groups will perform together as well and hopefully all will join in.
Mulled wine and softdrinks will be available - all proceeds and donations will go towards the Shaftesbury 2020 Great Tree Planting.
