Our Food, Our Future

Cordelia Rowlatt of Vallis Veg (http://vallisveg.co.uk/) is visiting Shaftesbury Homegrown (SHG, the community farm) - providing an opportunity to share experience and information about current farming practice and hear about her ideas for an Eco-Farm Future initiative. There are two similar events during her visit, one in the morning, one in the afternoon. 

Each event takes place outdoors with a chance to accompany Cordelia on a community farm walkabout, followed by further discussion. Please dress warmly with stout shoes or boots and feel free to bring your own flask/hot drink.

Cordelia's style is informal and interactive and you will get brief descriptions of the different set-ups at Homegrown and Vallis Veg, and of the opportunities for additional people to work on the land at Homegrown.
