About the Event
Hedgerows will be one of the themes for the Planet Shaftesbury/Greener Gillingham stall at the Spring Countryside Show. Let's build some momentum locally!
This meeting is considering:
Engaging with existing planting groups.
Reaching out to Town & Parish Councils - starting with those who have signed the Dorset Deserves Better campaign, and others that might be the starting points N,E,S,W of the GBDH.
Creating a database to capture relevant contacts, information on plantings, grants, sources of trees, etc.
Setting up a mapping base on which the GBDH can take shape.
