Woodfrys is a nature friendly farm, in Melbury Abbas, just outside of Shaftesbury. We farm rare breed cattle, pigs and chickens and are in the process of developing a market garden. We also run a small campsite. So far we have planted just under 4000 trees on the farm. Every year campers that stay with us contribute new trees to the farm, and this is what you will be helping us to plant. They are UK native species and will help to lock down carbon in our soils, creating shade and shelter for people and wildlife.
