About the Event
Message from Chris Harwood reads:
Saturday 19th March, from 10am, for as long as you wish: if wet, we will change to Sunday - there will be a notification by 8am on https://climatechangeactivists.org/events/
Location: Park and meet outside Wardour Primary School SP3 6RF.
Questions: Chris at info@climatechangeactivists.org (motto: we don’t march, we plant trees).
Bring: Strong shoes or wellies, gardening gloves, waterproof and a hot drink. If you can, please bring a spade. A trowel would also be useful. A sandwich for lunch, if staying.
Sir David Attenborough says that the best that an individual can do to fight climate change is to plant trees. This is an opportunity to do just that. We have the permission to plant. We have the saplings and protectors. We just need the planters.
There is something for everyone to do. If you can hold the end of a piece of measuring string you can help. Families are welcome - we are after all fighting for our children's future and our grandchildren's future.
