.We discussed our concerns about climate change and advised him about Planet Shaftesbury and associated activities. We emphasised our beliefs that this is a cross party issue,and he agreed. He comments that legislation and statutory instruments do not themselves change behaviour, but seemed sympathetic to the idea that we are all responsible for our futures. He has connections in the farming world and has given us a contact for a future speaker. He expressed interest in attending one of our meetings.
