This is a suggestion for discussion at one of our meetings. I'd like to consider how to make more of our social media accounts - given the constraints of being a loose network, of course!

Very interested in this. I would love to know what the community think? I would like to see Planet Shaftesbury support other local environmental campaigns, but I accept that the mechanism for doing so needs some careful thought.
I've never understood how to use social media so would welcome any help. I am on Facebook but nothing else and even that I find difficult to navigate.
Thanks @Arthur Simmonds. I don't even have Facebook, but I would be happy to try and organize a social media training for beginners. Would you be interested in something like that. A small workshop to walk through different approaches? What do you think? I saw that you wanted to post an MP's voting history on this site. Did you manage to do that yet?
I would love some social media training, including Arthur's point about social media having the potential to overwhelm us!
No but I am not motivated enough at the moment. i feel that if I get into it I will waste too much time on Facebook etc. I removed it from my favourites and now have a more balanced life. Thanks for the offer. If I am unsuccessful in posting something I ask for help with a specific problem and others help me. For example I was helped to put the beaver video onto this site which I couldn't have done by myself.Tthanks all the same.
