Thank you to Linda Philp for forwarding this message - any of us can support the campaign individually see below. We can't check this out at a meeting so please comment here if you'd like Planet Shaftesbury to register our collective support ...
Our campaign for the Local Electricity Bill is gaining increasing support from local community organisations. There are hundreds on board already. This makes sense. If made law the Bill would help stop climate change whilst creating benefits for local people: improved local services, skilled jobs, lower energy bills and much more. If we are going to win this campaign and realise these benefits, we must keep building grassroots momentum in local communities across the country. This is where you come in.
Please take action
Are you a member of a local Transition Town, Women’s Institute, faith group, Wildlife Trust, Chamber of Commerce or other local community organisation? Or do you know a member of such a local group? If so, then please help us build more support for the Local Electricity Bill by doing the following:
Ask your community group to state their support for the Local Electricity Bill by contacting Power for People via this webpage: https://powerforpeople.org.uk/the-local-electricity-bill/organisation-sign-up/
Ask other members of your community group, or a neighbour or a friend to sign up to the campaign. You can direct them this webpage: https://powerforpeople.org.uk/sign-up/
Your efforts will help us build more Parliamentary support for the Bill which, if made law, would deliver more local, clean energy and accelerate a green economic recovery.
Please get in touch if you need any advice or guidance. Together we can transform things.

Looks good. I have signed up for it and shared to the Dorset Wildlife Trust. Will anyone else?
