The oil company Egdon Resources wants another ten years planning permission to keep its oil site at Waddock Cross. Its planning permission has run out but it submitted the application just before it did (which is allowed apparently). It really wants to get permission for a much bigger operation which it says will be one of the biggest onshore oil producing sites. It can't afford to lose its current position (the site is currently dormant) while it prepares that application. More fossil fuel extraction is climate madness. Please object and ask for the application to be decided by councillors, not delegated to officers.
